RK-83: Scientific Graphing Calculator App Reviews

My math Tudor told me I needed to buy a Texas instruments ti-83 so I could do my graphing calculations. That costs $120.00 so I decided I would check the app store and see if anything was out there that would work. I found this and saw the pricetag was $.99 so I was a bit skeptical but this app definitely proved itself to me. It saved me well over $100 and it does everything the ti-83 would do, my math teacher could hardly believe it.

App works well, but when trying to find the square root it will not solve

I would like to love this app, its easy to use and well design. BUT : Ive got problem having accurate graph for some function. Usually the problem are with negative number, the Y(x) = ln(x) graph for example is not always showing properly. Sometimes it does, but most of the time under (0, -2) it goes straight to the left like if it was Y(x) = x - 2. That is annoying to have the feeling that you cant trust the result of your calculator. I hope to see an update that would addresses that issue.

too many bugs and glitches to even work properly, do not buy. You could use that $.99 to buy a Justin Bieber song, it would be more useful.

After using std dev its says your mom for every single answer... Want money back

It was working amazingly well until I decided to update my phone to iOS 10 and every time I want to open the app, it crashes! This is the best calculator to use for my algebra and physics homework but sadly I cant use it anymore because it crashes right away. Please make a update!

Still not compatible with iphone 7 plus current operating system. Crashes before it loads.

This app is solid, the recent update to IOS 10 is causing crashes. Not the fault of the app, but o certainly hope it is resolved. This app is a special unicorn.

Sorry but this is essential its been 5 months since iPhone 4 came out.

Alright so this is going out to the creators of this app.personally I think its wonderful and Ive been reading good and bad reviews. But some if the bad ones are very right. This being a scientific calculator sets it apart from other calculators, including the one that comes with the iPods and iPhones, by graphing and using advanced mathematical functions. The first thing I did to tests its abilities was do some calculus and it wasnt anything complicated. I asked it to integrate x^3 between -3 And 3. Now any calculus student who has even taken only one term of calculus can tell you the answer without doing any math. The answer is 0 but this calculator doesnt say its 0. It says its some very small number close to 0.... Doesnt matter what the number is but if its not 0 its not correct. Calculus functionability needs to be fixed or else your calculator is no better than the one that comes with the all the devices despite graphing ability. Accuracy is better then precision especially being a developer trying to top a ti 83 which it appears you are trying to do.

If the problem is to complex, you wont get the right answers. Even my math teacher cant figure it out with this APP.I might have to buy the calculator for more complex problems.

Im used the these kinds of calculators AND at a better deal! It saved my behind in Physics :)

Needs a list function. Basically this is useless without it.

I love this app but when i use the graphing feature, it ALWAYS crashes and the app closes. Also what is annoying is i cannot use it in landscape mode. If the creators fix those issues i will give 5 stars. It also must be fully stable on the iPod Touch 4, which is what i have.
