RK-83: Scientific Graphing Calculator App Reviews

Im using this for a college math class and I think its the business! I love the touch to select on previous answers for quick entry into the active calculation.

Works great with any person at any skill!

When calculating variance (entering the data correctly with { } around the numbers) the answer given is the variance squared. The standard deviation function will produce the variance. Its easy to work around this by just using standard deviation function to find the variance and then taking the square root to find the standard deviation, but it is an annoying issue and makes me feel like I cant quite trust the calculator. It doesnt save me time if I still have to do the calculations manually to double check. An update to fix this would be nice.

This is very helpful to have, especially since it was only $.99! However, I would appreiciate an answer button as a way to use the answer you just got in your next equation.

This is a great app, however it has a memory loss issue to the extent of 300+ MB Iv ha a few white screen crashes with graphing other then that well worth it. If the dev fixed the RAM loss it would most likely fix the graphing issue. If those issues didnt happened I would easily pay 5+ dollars

Some of it works, but when trying to do statistical problems it simply answers "your mum". I wouldnt risk buying this in case other features run like this.

This app can graph functions I found, but the whole reason I bought it was for some of the things a TI can do that the iPhone calculator cant. Namely, I wanted a function to included the previous answer from an equation and to have arrows to easily move the cursor around where the equations are being typed to change values. Neither of these basic functions are included in this app however.

Everytime I do anything it crashes. Come on really. Im using iOS 5 and have the iPhone 4 there should be no reason for crashes

Nothing like ti 83, if you put in an equation it cant solve it. Some greedy person is making a fortune off this piece of work

This was ok with ios4. With ios5, as soon as you click MATH and anything else, it crashes. Clicking "support" gets a "404 not found" message. I emailed over a month ago and got no reply.

It works great! I would just like to see an update that clears the input space after calculation instead of copying the previous one, and to copy the previous answer when an operation key is first pressed (like Ans+ on a ti). Aside from that I have no major complaints.

This app crashes when trying to use the Math functions. The support page no longer exists. Dont buy.

Same problem as others; crashes with iOS5 when using Math functions. It wont open the Y= editor anymore either. No support to be found it seems. It still performs basic functions, but you can just use the built in calculator for that. Not worth it. Extremely dissatisfied.

Please add a table. Also, misleading desc. Does not have all and more functions than a ti 83 calculator.

Its a great app, Ive been using it for a few years now. I was happy to see it was recently updated, so the developer has not abandoned it. I would love to see it get updated again to work on the iPad natively without having to zoom in, which makes it a bit blurry.

I think this app is some kind of joke. I tried to use it to calculate variance measures on a set of data and all I got for output was "your mum." Use another app of possible, or just up and buy a TI83 if youre serious.
